"The One Dark, Irremovable spot on naruto's history" - DARK NARUTO
Released last May 8, 2010 in Mangafox.com, here's another exciting (yet I must admit it was depressing in a way since it's hanging a bit on the story) chapter of Naruto Shippuden.
Chapter 493: Dark Naruto, gives us the follow-up where Naruto meets his evil side in the Fountain of Truth. Last chapter 492, Naruto was asking Killer Bee's help in taming his Kyubi. However he was rejected. He was then helped by the Island's caretaker by referring him in the fountain where he was told to do some meditating. it was at this part the 492 ended with a figure revealing himself to Naruto.
In 493 Naruto was taken aback by the image especially after he revealed himself as the darker side of him. Another fact that was surprising was that how the Kyubi liked the other Naruto being dark and hated. Background check on the previous chapter shows how the toads said that the Kyubi's will is focused on hatred. Naruto was simply told to learn how to take on the power of the Kyubi but to not loose itself on its will.
Moving on… Naruto didn’t like what the other “him” said. The dark Naruto spoke of hate towards those who pushed him aside when he was younger and how he detest the fact that at present he was being praised by them. He was in fact all his shredded hatred that the Kyubi wishes to feed upon.
Naruto tried to fight him by doing his jutsu, however as he did this the other Naruto also did the same: they both posses the same power, the same strength, and the same knowledge on jutsus.
The next scene was that of Naruto finally getting out of his trance panting as he was approached by the worried Yamato. naruto then started to relay to him what happened as he entered the place where he saw the figure. The island taker Motoi then replied to him stating that he should defeat the said figure if he wants to control the kyubi. However it was this that Naruto worried since there was no difference between them in terms of looks, skills and knowledge--all except his aura.
Naruto then asked Motoi regarding Bee's history wanting to do background search on how he can defeat his darker side. He was later on told the story of Killer Bee when he was a child.
The Background check on Killer Bee showed Naruto the similarities’ they had as a kid. He too was avoided and feared by the people being a host to the eight tails. However he didn't care and just rap-on his beat being cheerful as always. Another plus factor on the reason why he didn't fail the trial of the fountain was possible due to his brother the Raikage of the village. It was also there that Naruto learned that the tailed monsters were sealed in the bodies of the leaders of the nations--so the host would never betray their villages.
Meanwhile, the eight tailed monster, Hachibi, was convincing Killer Bee to train Naruto. He was fooling around with the other beasts in the island, friends for Bee who look up to him as a master. However even with the Hachibi telling him he still refused to help Naruto. Hachibi was once wild and was once uncontrollable, however Bee-san had changed him and that the tailed monster acknowledge very much.
Chapter 493 ended with Naruto asking Motoi to help him ask Bee to train him again. However Motoi refused saying that he was unworthy; he had tried to kill Bee before. The next chapter 494 would follow Hachibi's revelation of his Bloody Past from 30 years ago as told by Motoi.
It may be hanging at this point but there is excitement as background check of how Bee's past as a child was shown. I just hope the next one would come soon.
